Effective date: September 6, 2026
These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of trianglehomesafety.com. By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Website Information Is General Information
The website provides general information about home safety, aging in place, minor home modifications, local resources, and Triangle Home Safety services. Website content is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, occupational therapy, physical therapy, engineering advice, legal advice, or a substitute for an individualized evaluation by an appropriately qualified professional.
Not an Emergency or Medical Service
Triangle Home Safety is not an emergency-response service. If someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical attention, contact the appropriate emergency or medical service rather than waiting for a response from us.
Nonclinical Scope
Triangle Home Safety evaluates the physical home environment and performs practical work that falls within our agreed scope. We do not diagnose a person’s medical condition, prescribe individualized clinical placement, or guarantee that a home modification will prevent a fall or injury. When an occupational therapist, physician, licensed trade, structural professional, remodeler, or other specialist is the better fit, we may recommend that the customer work with that professional instead.
Service Requests Are Not Automatically Accepted
Submitting a website form, sending an email, taking the service finder, or requesting a package does not create a service contract or guarantee availability. We confirm scope, site conditions, scheduling, pricing, and any required permissions before work is booked.
Prices, Starting Prices, and Estimates
Prices shown as fixed prices apply to the stated service under the described conditions. Prices shown as “From” or “starting” prices are planning figures, not guaranteed final prices. Wall construction, tile or substrate condition, product selection, quantities, travel, access, code or permit requirements, hidden conditions, and changes in requested scope can affect final pricing. A written estimate, proposal, invoice, or service agreement provided for a specific project controls over general website pricing.
Separate Service Agreements Control Field Work
These Terms apply to use of the website. Actual assessment, installation, modification, follow-up, payment, warranty, cancellation, and project terms may be governed by a separate estimate, proposal, work order, invoice, or service agreement. If there is a conflict, the project-specific written agreement controls for that project.
Your Submissions
When you submit information, photos, measurements, recommendations, or documents, you represent that the information is reasonably accurate and that you are authorized to share it with us. If you are arranging services for another adult, we may require confirmation from the homeowner, client, or appropriate decision-maker before entering the home, sharing findings, or performing work.
Professional Recommendations
If you share recommendations from an occupational therapist, physical therapist, healthcare professional, care manager, or other professional, we may use them to understand the requested work. Triangle Home Safety remains responsible for deciding whether the requested installation or modification falls within our own practical scope and whether site conditions are appropriate.
Third-Party Resources and Links
We may link to transportation programs, senior centers, government resources, healthcare organizations, manufacturers, community programs, or other independent websites. Those links are provided for convenience and informational value. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Triangle Home Safety does not control, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for third-party organizations, content, eligibility rules, availability, products, or services.
Intellectual Property
The Triangle Home Safety name, site design, original written content, graphics, checklists, photographs owned by us, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for personal, noncommercial informational purposes. You may not copy, republish, sell, scrape at scale, or commercially exploit our original materials without permission, except as permitted by law.
No Guarantee of Outcome
Home-safety improvements can reduce certain environmental concerns, but no assessment, product, installation, or modification can eliminate all risk or guarantee that a fall, injury, property loss, or other event will not occur. Customers remain responsible for seeking appropriate medical, clinical, structural, licensed-trade, or emergency help when needed.
Disclaimer of Website Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the website and its general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep information useful and current but do not warrant that every page, external resource, price, program detail, or third-party link will always be complete, current, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability for Website Use
To the extent permitted by law, Triangle Home Safety is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this website or reliance on general website information. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
Governing Law
These website Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will show when the current version took effect.
