What happens next
Mention the earlier Triangle Home Safety work and any new concern. We confirm the visit details and a convenient time.
We check earlier improvements and look at current concerns with you and any family members you choose to include.
We share the findings and priority notes. Any new project has its own quote before work is arranged.
Clear Visit Scope & What is Included
We will take a focused look at the safety features we previously put in place, alongside any new areas you’ve noticed around the house. It’s a simple, reassuring way to keep things running smoothly without the need for a full, first-time assessment.
Included in the visit
We’ll inspect the grab bars, handrails or hardware we previously installed to check that they remain stable and secure.
We’ll check safely reachable handrails and grab bars, look at the brightness of safety lighting, and review paths and thresholds for anything that has become harder to navigate.
If you’ve rearranged furniture, moved a favorite chair or noticed a dim hallway, we’ll look at how those small changes affect your daily steps.
We’ll sit down and chat about how you are moving around the home lately, focusing on any tasks that have started to feel a bit more tiring or difficult.
If hardware we installed needs a quick tightening, the mounting is sound and a straightforward adjustment is suitable, we’ll take care of it during the visit.
You’ll receive a simple, personalized list of notes and recommendations, allowing you and your family to decide what to handle next at your own pace.

Why this service
Our homes don’t stay completely still, and neither do our daily routines. A handrail you leaned on comfortably last year might feel a little less steady today. A newly arranged living room might subtly change how you pace yourself down the hall.
This annual check-in gives your home’s safety features the regular attention they deserve, giving you a dedicated time to ask about anything that feels different. You’ve worked hard to make your home a comfortable place to stay independent. This visit helps keep it that way.
If something feels loose or unsafe before your annual visit, contact us then rather than waiting for the calendar.
Who it helps
The Annual Home Safety Checkup is built specifically for our returning customers who want to keep their homes working well over time. It offers simple reassurance, especially if you’ve recently changed your daily routines or noticed a familiar room starting to feel a bit more challenging.
If you are an adult child helping an independent parent care for their home, you can arrange this visit on their behalf with their permission. We keep the homeowner at the center of every conversation and decision, and we’re glad to share the findings with the people they choose so everyone stays on the same page.

Annual Home Safety Checkup questions
This checkup is for existing Triangle Home Safety customers whose home we have assessed or improved. A family member can help arrange it with the homeowner’s permission.
If you are new to Triangle Home Safety and unsure where to begin, a Whole Home Safety Assessment can help you set priorities. If you already know what you need, explore our home safety services to request the appropriate help.
No. Contact us when you notice a concern rather than waiting for your yearly visit. Tell us what has changed and where it is in the home so we can discuss the next step.
Avoid relying on a loose grab bar or handrail until the concern has been addressed. An annual appointment is a planned review, not an emergency response service.
Yes! If you see a spot where you think a new grab bar or better lighting would help, point it out to us. We’ll look at it together and prepare a separate, clear estimate for your review.
The annual visit covers the review and suitable minor tightening of our earlier hardware. New products and installation work are quoted separately before you decide whether to proceed.
Absolutely. You’ll get a written summary of our updated safety notes to keep for your records.
If a family member is helping you coordinate care from near or far, we can also send them a brief summary with your permission. You choose who receives it.
