This Service Disclaimer explains important boundaries for Triangle Home Safety services and general information provided on trianglehomesafety.com. Project-specific estimates, proposals, work orders, invoices, or service agreements may contain additional terms and control the agreed field work.
Home-Safety Services Are Nonclinical
Triangle Home Safety evaluates the physical home environment and provides practical home-safety recommendations and minor modifications within our agreed scope. We do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing services, or individualized clinical advice.
Not a Substitute for a Qualified Professional
Some situations require evaluation or work by another qualified professional. Depending on the concern, that may include an occupational therapist, physician or other healthcare professional, licensed electrician, licensed plumber, structural professional, accessibility specialist, remodeler, or other appropriately qualified provider. We may recommend referral when the requested work falls outside our scope or when individualized clinical or technical judgment is needed.
Not a Code, Structural, or Comprehensive Home Inspection
Unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise, our home-safety assessment is not a building-code inspection, structural inspection, electrical inspection, plumbing inspection, mold inspection, environmental-hazard inspection, real-estate home inspection, or certification that a property complies with every applicable law, code, standard, or manufacturer requirement.
No Home Can Be Made Risk-Free
Home-safety recommendations and modifications can address identified environmental concerns, but they cannot eliminate every hazard or guarantee that a fall, injury, emergency, property loss, or other event will not occur. Conditions, abilities, behaviors, products, maintenance, and the home itself can change after an assessment or installation.
Site Conditions Can Change the Recommended Work
Recommendations, starting prices, and preliminary scope may change after we inspect the actual installation area or discover conditions that were not reasonably visible beforehand. Wall construction, substrate condition, hidden utilities, moisture, deterioration, access, product compatibility, manufacturer instructions, permit or code requirements, and other site conditions may require a different approach, additional work, or referral to another provider.
Third-Party Products and Information
We may discuss or install products made by third parties and may link to independent manufacturers, agencies, healthcare organizations, community programs, or other resources. Product specifications, warranties, availability, eligibility rules, and third-party information are controlled by those providers and may change. Unless expressly stated in writing, we do not guarantee independent third-party products, programs, websites, or services.
Information From Clients, Families, and Professionals
Our recommendations and project decisions may rely in part on information, measurements, photos, priorities, or professional recommendations provided to us. Please provide information you are authorized to share and tell us when relevant circumstances change. When a clinical professional has provided individualized recommendations, those recommendations remain the responsibility of that professional; Triangle Home Safety separately determines whether the requested physical work falls within our own scope and is appropriate for the site.
Emergencies
Triangle Home Safety is not an emergency-response service. If someone is in immediate danger, has fallen and may be injured, or needs urgent medical or emergency assistance, contact the appropriate emergency service or healthcare provider rather than waiting for a response from us.
Questions About Scope
If you are unsure whether a request fits our scope, contact Triangle Home Safety at hello@trianglehomesafety.com. We would rather identify the right next step than accept work that should be handled by another professional.
