Please Do Not Send Highly Sensitive Information Through Public Forms
Triangle Home Safety is a nonclinical home-safety business. Our public website forms are not intended for medical records, Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, insurance records, or other highly sensitive information. If you are a healthcare or care professional, submit only information you are authorized to share. Do not send protected health information through a public website form unless we have specifically provided an appropriate process for that information.
How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- respond to questions and service requests;
- recommend an appropriate starting point, such as an assessment, focused package, return home visit, annual checkup, or direct modification request;
- prepare estimates, confirm scope, schedule visits, and perform agreed services;
- create written findings, project documentation, or completion information when those services apply;
- communicate with a family member, referral professional, or other person when the homeowner/client has authorized that communication;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and business systems;
- maintain business records and comply with legal, insurance, accounting, or safety obligations; and
- prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as reasonably needed with:
- service providers that help us host the website, send email, store business records, or operate business systems;
- contractors or specialists when their involvement is requested or appropriate for an agreed project and sharing is permitted;
- family members, care professionals, or referral partners when the homeowner/client has authorized the communication;
- government, legal, insurance, or safety authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or property; and
- a successor organization if the business is reorganized, sold, or transferred, subject to applicable law.
Photos and Project Information
Photos or project details collected to evaluate or complete a service are used for operational purposes. We do not publish identifiable customer testimonials, project photos, or private project details for marketing without appropriate permission. When publication permission is provided, we may use the approved material on our website, social channels, or marketing materials.
Email and Website Forms
When you submit a form, we may send a confirmation email and internal notification so we can respond. Email is not a guaranteed secure communication method, so please avoid sending information that is unnecessarily sensitive.
Cookies, Logs, and Analytics
Our website uses essential technologies required for WordPress, security, forms, and normal site operation. Our hosting provider may also maintain standard server logs. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for basic website measurement and conversion reporting only after a visitor chooses to allow analytics. Google may then receive information such as pages viewed, referring pages, browser or device information, approximate location derived from network information, and measurement events such as assessment or quote requests, quiz completions, professional referrals, contact submissions, and phone-link clicks. We do not intentionally send form-field contents or sensitive information to GA4, and we do not use advertising pixels or remarketing at launch. Visitors who choose Essential only do not load the GA4 tag. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including responding to inquiries, providing services, maintaining project and accounting records, resolving disputes, supporting warranties or follow-up, and meeting legal or insurance obligations. Retention periods may vary by record type.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No website, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Your Choices
You may contact us to ask about the personal information we maintain about you, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion where appropriate. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, insurance, safety, or legitimate business reasons. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights.
Third-Party Websites
Our Resource Center and other pages may link to government agencies, senior centers, transportation programs, healthcare organizations, product manufacturers, or other independent websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Children
This website is intended for adults seeking information or services related to home safety and aging in place. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through our public forms.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, website, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when material revisions are published.
