What the Starting Price Assumes
The published starting price assumes one standard stair flight in sound condition, an existing rail that does not require structural reconstruction, standard traction products, and lighting that can be added without hardwired electrical work.

- Structural stair repair or reconstruction
- Hardwired electrical work
- Carpet replacement or major flooring work
- Building-code upgrades beyond the agreed minor-modification scope

If you already completed a Triangle Home Safety Whole-Home Safety Assessment, $100 may be credited toward this package when booked within 45 days.
Credit applies to one qualifying package and cannot be combined with other promotions unless Triangle Home Safety states otherwise.
Assessment credit is automatically reflected in the final project pricing when the current eligibility requirements are met.

The package is intended for practical improvements rather than structural stair reconstruction, carpet replacement, hardwired electrical work, or a major new rail system.
Does the Stair & Hallway Safety package include a new handrail?+
A new handrail is not included in the standard package price.
The condition of an existing rail can be reviewed and minor securement may be completed when appropriate. New handrail installation is quoted separately after the stair construction and mounting conditions are reviewed.
Does Stair & Hallway Safety cover one stair flight?+
Yes. The published starting package is based on one standard stair flight and the nearby hallway or travel path.
A second flight, additional hallway, unusual stair geometry, or conditions requiring structural work can change the scope and are priced separately.
Do I need an assessment before requesting Stair & Hallway Safety?+
No. If one stair flight or hallway is clearly the priority, you can request the package directly.
A Whole-Home Safety Assessment is more useful when the stair concern is part of a broader set of issues or the family is unsure what should come first.
What if the stairs need structural repair?+
Structural stair repair, reconstruction, and major code-related work are outside the standard Stair & Hallway Safety package.
We identify those conditions before proceeding and explain when a remodeler, carpenter, or other qualified professional is the better fit.
