A Home-Safety-First Approach
Triangle Home Safety is designed around a simple idea: families should be able to understand what the home needs before being pushed toward a bigger project. We aim to make the next step clear, practical, and proportionate to the concern.
Our Service Standards
We assess when an assessment adds value.
When several areas of the home are involved or the family is not sure what should come first, a Whole-Home Safety Assessment can create a prioritized written plan.
We do not require an assessment for every known modification.
If the need is already clear—such as a specific grab bar or another defined minor modification—you can request that work directly. We do not require a broader assessment simply to access a straightforward service.
We explain scope before work begins.
We review site conditions, product requirements, access, and other factors that can change the work. Starting prices are explained as starting prices, and final scope and pricing are confirmed before agreed work begins.
We stay within a nonclinical role.
Triangle Home Safety assesses the physical home environment and performs practical work within our scope. We do not diagnose medical conditions or replace occupational therapy, physical therapy, medical care, structural engineering, licensed trades, or major remodeling services.
We refer honestly when another professional is the better fit.
If an OT, electrician, plumber, remodeler, accessibility specialist, or another qualified professional is more appropriate, we say so. A useful recommendation is more important than stretching a project beyond our role.
We respect homeowner and family permissions.
Adult children and other family members can help coordinate services. Before sharing findings, photos, or completion information with another person, we confirm the appropriate permission or communication arrangement.
We do not publish private project information without permission.
Project photos and testimonials are used publicly only when appropriate publication permission has been provided. Staging or concept photography is replaced over time with real, permissioned work as the business builds its project library.
We do not overstate credentials.
Insurance, certifications, professional designations, affiliations, and other trust marks are displayed only when they are current and accurate. If a Senior Home Safety Specialist® credential is shown, it should identify the individual who actually holds that credential where appropriate.
What Families Can Expect
- plain-language explanations rather than pressure;
- clear distinctions between an assessment, direct modification, package, and referral;
- pricing context before scheduling;
- reasonable documentation of agreed work;
- communication with authorized family members or professionals when helpful; and
- a clear next step when the requested work falls outside our scope.
